Elizabeth Hastings is a published author who writes books and articles on Artists and Art Collections.

As Curator of the John Symond AM Collection, Elizabeth was privileged to document the harbourside residence and extraordinary private art collection of Australia’s renowned business entrepreneur, John Symond AM in Wingadal and Wingadal: The John Symond Collection.

In association with The Beagle Press, Elizabeth wrote a monograph on the celebrated Australian artist Kevin Connor, and contributed to Destination Sydney, a catalogue which accompanied a major exhibition shown concurrently at the Manly Art Gallery & Museum, the Mosman Art Gallery and the S.H. Ervin National Trust Gallery, Sydney.

As an editor, she contributed to Sydney Ball: Modular and Infinex 1967 to now, a book celebrating a key series of work by one of Australia’s great pioneers of Abstract art.
